Over the years I’ve photographed weddings across Staffordshire and have always loved the atmosphere at Moddershall Oaks. From the lakeside setting and modern interiors through to the beautiful grounds and evening light, it offers so many opportunities for relaxed, elegant wedding photography.

My approach is simple — capturing genuine moments as they happen while creating a small number of beautiful portraits that still feel natural and effortless.

Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or a larger wedding day, Moddershall Oaks gives incredible variety for photographs from morning preparations right through to the evening celebrations.

Moddershall Oaks works brilliantly for this because there’s so much variety without needing to travel away from guests.

How long do couple portraits take?

Usually around 15–20 minutes at a time so you spend most of the day with guests.

Do you photograph natural moments?

Absolutely — most of the day is photographed unobtrusively.

Do you cover weddings outside Staffordshire?

Yes, although Moddershall Oaks is one of my favourite local venues.
