Baby portraits
I’ve been very busy in the studio with lots of newborn baby shoots recently with mums who have signed up for either my watch me grow plan or the cherubs package.
Bodie recently came to the studio to have his second WMG session and to have some photos taken with his Daddy. He is such a happy little boy with the biggest blue eyes and he seemed to quite enjoy having his picture taken. The last photo in this set was my favourite of the session I loved the eye contact Bodie has with his Dad.

So I finally got around to moving my studio, now situated in Stafford town centre opposite the Gatehouse theatre ( handy when I need tickets for a show !!) I moved into the new premises at the begging of this month and to say it gave me a few headaches would be an understatement. Sooo many issues with phone lines and Internet this still hasn’t been completely sorted out yet, So please accept my apologies if It has taken a while to get back to you via emails.
{Studio Lighting}
One of the main things I wanted to do was test my lights and get a feel for how things would look in the new place, you kind of get used to a space and instinctively know camera and lighting settings, what works and also what doesn’t work so well. This said I needed to test the space so Grant kindly volunteered to help me out for a few hours one evening, As Grant is a professional Boxer and a good few years younger than me I didn’t fancy upsetting him LOL.
After a couple of hours we had managed a few different looks and lighting sets.

I have just under 800 Sq feet of studio space so can accommodate larger family groups, all wedding client meetings are also taking place in the studio. We are now connected to a modeling agency to shoot their folio’s which is something I’m really looking forward to.

Another portrait session leading up to Christmas I wanted to share with you.
The little cutie came into the studio towards the end of November, Mum wanted a few nice pictures for Christmas.
She was another little poser and brought around three outfit changes from a party dress to Ballet costume, an absolute pleasure to photograph this little one. They are so funny at this age and even come up with suggestions for the shoot and she also told me how cute she is…well how could I disagree with that !!

This week I had the pleasure of photographing Kierans second watch me grow session, he has changed so much since his last session and is now sittng and smiling for the camera, to say he is a little poser would be an understatement. As with all baby shoots THEY dictate how long it will last and in most cases around 20 minutes is the norm, once they have decided they have had enough trust me we will all know !!
On this session mum not only had Keiren photographed on his own for his watch me grow but also with his two sisters.

Baby’s First year…
I first met Jo and Andrew back in 2007 for their wedding photographs at Sandon Hall…….
In 2009 Jo and Andrew had their first child and came back to me for one of the WMG packages, this is a year in the life of a baby with photographs taken around every three months to show how baby changes over that first year, from new born to standing this is something parents can treasure for a lifetime.
As I have just finished B’s last session I thought it would be good to share a few images from some of the shoots.
