Lucy and Craig’s wedding at Hawkstone Hall in Shrewsbury was a true celebration of love, luxury, and the beauty of autumn. From the vows exchanged in the chapel to the opulence of the ballroom, the grandeur of The Saloon, and the natural light in the Winter Garden, every space within Hawkstone Hall added its own special touch to their unforgettable day. As Lucy and Craig embark on this new chapter of their lives, their wedding at Hawkstone Hall remains a testament to the timeless elegance and enchanting beauty that this luxury venue has to offer.
I first met Lucy when she was a bridesmaid at her brother’s wedding back in 2018 at Somerford Hall, you can see their wedding blog post here Eleanor & Jake , Fast forward to today, and she’s now the one in the spotlight as the bride. Life’s got a funny way of circling back, and it’s cool to be part of Lucy’s journey from being the bridesmaid to the bride, and there is no better recommendation than being booked by someone who has seen you work and the final results.
The Pre-Wedding Meeting:
During our pre-wedding meeting, Lucy and Craig expressed a preference for natural candid shots, reflecting their desire for in-the-moment images that would authentically capture the essence of their special day. With this in mind, we set out to create a photography plan that would complement their style.
The Unexpected Twist:
As the wedding day unfolded we found ourselves pleasantly surprised when Lucy, known for her initial reluctance, couldn’t help but express her newfound enthusiasm for being in front of the camera. Post-ceremony, she excitedly declared, “I’m loving this! I want loads of pictures!” It was a delightful twist that set the tone for the day.
The abundance of spontaneous moments, laughter, and genuine emotions resulted in a picture-perfect wedding album that told the story of Lucy and Craig’s day in vivid detail. The images showcased not only the couple’s love but also the infectious joy that permeated every aspect of their celebration.
