SOMERFORD HALL | SUMMER WEDDINGS
Eleanor & Jake had a beautiful summer wedding at Somerford Hall in Brewood.
The day started with the bridal preparations with all those important details being documented.
My trusty assistant Claire stayed with the bride and bridesmaids as I had to head off to photograph Jake and the lads at the Church
The service took place at Holy trinity church in Sutton Coldfield. After the service we headed back over to Somerford hall for the wedding reception.
Drinks and canapés were served on the terrace on a lovely sunny afternoon. During this time we captured some of the family photo’s along with lots of candid and in the moment images giving good variety to the finished wedding album.
After the drinks reception we headed inside taking photo’s of the dining room and speeches before heading back outside for some candid photos of the guests relaxing and enjoying the amazing weather we have been having. It was such a nice day we even decided to cut the wedding cake outdoors and the Rhododendron bush made the prefect backdrop.( I googled the plant name 🙂 )
Later in the evening we headed inside for the couples first dance as husband and wife followed by some dance floor photos of the guests throwing a few shapes.
Somerford Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues to work at, it has so many great photographic opportunities and locations all year round plus the staff are great.
What more can I say, Eleanor and Jake thank you for allowing me the privilege of documenting your amazing wedding, it was a blast and a total pleasure.

SANDON HALL Wedding Photographer
Caroline and Andrew’s wedding took place at the stunning Sandon Hall. Sandon Hall situated amidst 400 acre of parkland in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside.
Caroline & Andrew booked me for their wedding a couple of years ago, both Caroline & Andrew live and work in the Middle East so Skype and emails became the best way of communication.
They opted for all day coverage so my day typically started in the morning with the bridal preparations. The chosen location for this was Ingestre lodges stunning grade 11 listed Jacobean style buildings located in Ingestre village.
After the details had been photographed my assistant Claire stayed with the bride whilst I headed over to Sandon hall to photograph the guest arrivals and the bridal party. I prefer to photograph this part of the wedding in a documentary style, capturing moments as they unfold.
Later in the day the Bride and Groom went for a walk around the gardens at Sandon Hall and this provided me with the opportunity to take more creative portraits.
This was a fantastic wedding at a beautiful venue with some amazing people, if I could sum it up in one word “EPIC”

Weston Hall Weddings
Natalie & Sean
Weston hall wedding photography, Stafford, Staffordshire.
Natalie & Sean were married at the beautiful Weston Hall in Stafford on a lovely sunny afternoon.
Natalie & Sean booked me to document their wedding story after meeting them at one of Weston halls wedding open days. They opted for all day coverage starting with the bridal preparations in weston halls bridal suit.
Weston hall is a great choice for weddings, its full of character and charm. I have worked at this wedding venue many times over the years and it is always a pleasure to photograph weddings at this stunning venue.
Engagement Session
leading up to the wedding we met up at Stafford castle as Natalie & Sean wanted one of my engagement session, these are around 40 minutes and usually in the Stafford area. This helps couples get used to working wth me and getting them relaxed in front of the camera.

MOAT HOUSE
Moat House Wedding Photography
Hannah & Wayne.
Hannah & Wayne were married at The Moat House in Acton Trussell. The wedding ceremony took place in the Colin Lewis suit, a 14th Century moated manor with it’s oak beams and fairy lights a truly romantic setting for your service.
Any time of the year the Moat House offers so much choice for your wedding photographs, come rain or shine, we have even photograph in snow, you are guaranteed some remarkable backdrops for your wedding photographs.
I’m fortunate enough to be one a few selected preferred suppliers for this venue and even though I have photographed here for over 15 years it always throws something new up for me. I will often walk the venue when the Bride & groom with all their wedding guests are having the wedding breakfast, looking for something different.
Hannah & Wayne opted for my all day coverage, so I started in the morning with the Bridal preparations and worked through until the evening with the dancing and party in full swing.
This coverage for me helps tell the full story of the day, capturing all those moments and guest interactions along with some creative images of the couple. It’s important that couples who book me spend time with their guests and enjoy the day, so we keep group photo’s down to a minimum, something we discuss together prior to the wedding.
Each month, each season will offer something a little different for each and every wedding.
I have added a selection of images from Hannah & Wayne’s big day at The Moat House….
