Staffordshire wedding photographer 2015
A look back at 2015 weddings, images taken at Somerford hall, Weston hall, The moathouse, Swinfen hall, Pendrell hall, The Ashes and many more cool venues.
So 2016 is now upon us and another wedding season will be starting in a couple of weeks, I wanted to look back over what was an amazing year working with some fantastic couples and cool venues. I was going to post a couple of my favourite images from last year, then it ended up me trying to post one from each wedding I had shot, and now I have far too many but hopefully you can get to the end and enjoy them as much as i enjoyed taking them.
I started photographing weddings 20 years ago and I’m still,if not more passionate about it now than ever, I love working with couples to provide them with a lifetime of memories, telling the story of their wedding day, so thank you to everyone past and present who has booked me to document their wedding day, here’s to 2016.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

WESTON HALL WEDDING
ST LUKES CANNOCK-WESTON HALL
St Lukes Church in Cannock followed by a reception at Weston Hall in Stafford became the chosen venues for Hayley and Jason’s wedding day.
I have been fortunate enough to work at both of these locations a number of times over the years, even had the privilege of photographing both of the current vicars daughters weddings a few years ago.
After the service we headed over to one of Staffordshire’s finest wedding venues, Weston Hall. This grade 11 listed building Located in the heart of Staffordshire surrounded by 20 acres of breath taking scenery is hugely popular with couples looking for that perfect wedding venue. I’m also lucky in that I only live 5 minutes from the venue so it’s very handy when I have to go back for those magical evening photographs, Weston Hall look amazing in the day but at night it really does look especially magical.
If you are thinking of booking Weston Hall for your wedding day I know they have a wedding experience open day this Sunday 8th November so why not pop along and take a look around.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer we would love to hear from you, so please feel free to get in touch.
Here is selection of images from Hayley and Jason’s big day, thanks for looking.

OAKLEY HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Becky and Dan’s wedding took place in a lovely village church St Chads Norton-In-Hales on a beautiful summers day, with a reception to follow at Oakley Hall Market Drayton.
This was the first time I have photographed at this venue so earlier on in the year I took the opportunity to take a look round and pick out some great locations, to say I was spoilt for choice would be an understatement.
Over 100 acres of grounds and a huge lake I had to put a plan together to get some of these key areas documented for them without taking up too much time.
So with a venue such as this we decided to agree on a few key locations that not only looked amazing but also meant something to the couple as the venue also has family ties with Dan.
I started my day at Becky’s home for all those bridal preparations, and once I had got what I needed I headed off to the church to meet the groom and his best woman, yes woman and take it from me in 20 years she gave one of the best speeches I have ever heard!
After the service we took a short drive to Oakley Hall where the guest enjoyed canapés and drinks on the lawn, played croquet and badminton and other games until being called for the wedding breakfast.
The speeches were before the wedding breakfast; this seems to be popular nowadays as nerves can stop the speakers from enjoying their meal.
After the meal we headed down to the lake for a couple more pre planned photographs and then finished off with the first dance in the evening.
If you are planning a wedding and would like to find out more about our wedding photography please feel free to get in touch we would love to hear from you
Thanks for looking…

PACKINGTON MOOR WEDDINGS
Holly & Jake’s wedding day at Packington moor
I’m limited as to what images I can show from this wedding but wanted to share some of my favourites from the day. Holly and Jake were married at Packington moor situated midway between Tamworth and Lichfield, it is in a stunning rural setting with views over the distant Cannock Chase, this venue enjoys a peaceful rural location.
My coverage for the day started with the bridal preparations in the morning throughout the day until the evening and finishing with the bride and grooms first dance.
I was so spoilt for time at this wedding with holly and Jake more than happy to get into the hay barn and wheat field for some fun pictures!
Here are a few of my favourite images form the day…

A MOAT HOUSE WEDDING
Nicola & Matt recently got married at the Moat House in Acton Trussell, a venue I’m fortunate enough to be one of there recommended suppliers. Nicola was a bridesmaids for her sister who’s’ wedding I had photographed a few years prior at Somerofrd Hall so she already new how I worked and my style of photography. It was also great to see four more couples who’s wedding I had photographed in the past as guests at this wedding.
Most couples that book me now opt for the all day wedding collection, this is bridal preparations in the morning through to the evening reception and first dance, it’s a great way to document the whole day and provides them with the full story of the day, It also gives plenty of time to offer some of the more creative photography along with the natural documentary style.
You can also view more work on my Facebook page.
a selection of images from the day…….
