THE MOAT HOUSE ACTON TRUSSELL
Recently I returned to the moat house in Acton Trussell for Richard and Lucy Ellen’s wedding, Richard and Lucy came to see me at my studio in Stafford after one of the Moat House showcases last year and booked me to photograph their wedding.
I have been fortunate enough to have worked at this particular venue for years and as one of their recommended suppliers it’s always a pleasure to return to this beautiful venue in the heart of Staffordshire.
Also this year I seem to have photographed a lot of our armed forces weddings in particular the RAF. The key factor for me with any wedding is to try and be a little different, I don’t want to take the same images as everyone else I prefer to push myself and create images for each couple that is as individual as them.
Below are a selection of images from Richard and Lucy Ellen’s wedding day to give you an idea of my style of photography, it’s a mixture of documentary and creatively posed images the idea is to give you a wedding album that will hold interest from beginning to end with some cool shots and fun along the way.
Congratulations to Richard and Lucy Married at The Moat House Acton Trussell.

We will be at the Moathouse showcase on Sunday 15th December please feel free to come and have a chat about your wedding day, thanks for looking.

Somerford Hall
A few weeks ago I was back at Somerford Hall in Brewood for another fabulous wedding with Kathryn and Oliver.
The couple had booked me to photograph the wedding from Bridal preparations up to first dance, I particularly enjoy full coverage as this really does allow me to document a couples wedding day in depth, in return giving them some great memories in images.
Somerford Hall will also be holding their next open evening on Tuesday 29th October 2013 from 6pm to 9pm with free parking and free admission, If you are looking for ideas for a wedding venue this is a must on your list.
And finally a few images form Kathryn & Olivers wedding…

Please don’t say what I think your going to say, arrggh too late !

Payback for me..hope her camera still works !

Emma & Paul Married {SWINFEN HALL}
Emma & Paul’s wedding took place at Christ Church Lichfield followed by a reception at Swinfen Hall on a lovely sunny afternoon in June.
My day started at Emma’s house in the morning for the bridal preparations, Photographing those all important details. later I met the groom and ushers at the church.
My day concluded in the evening with the first dance. Emma is from Ireland and treated her guests to some traditional irish dancing, you can see from the last few images how well this was received.
A fantasic couple great venue and wonderful guests, congratulations Emma and Paul.
MY STYLE OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
My style I feel is mixed, documentary to tell the story of the day as it unfolds along with a more structured style of imagery creating a lovely mixture and balance to the albums,
I found over the years this has proved to be the perfect combination as it gives couples a bit of everything and makes the albums hold interest from beginning to end telling the story of your day in pictures.
Here’s a small selection from Paul and Emma’s wedding day at Swinfen Hall..

WEDDINGS AT THE ASHES IN ENDON
Well if I could sum up this wedding in one word…OK it would have to be two, awesome & fun !! hope that doesn’t count as three ?
Holly and Alex were married at The ashes wedding venue in Endon and a venue I have been lucky enough to photograph at on many occasions.
My day started at Holly’s parents house for the bridal preparations, after which I headed over to the Ashes to meet the groom and best men, Holly & Alex had booked me to cover the wedding until the first dance in the evening, giving me plenty of time and opportunity to take lots of candid photographs and get the full story of the day.
We also had our video booth out at this wedding and some of the footage is priceless, I don’t think I have laughed so much in a long time watching the results.
Another great wedding with some wonderful people.
here are a few images from the day….

HADLEY PARK HOUSE
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Helen & Jack
Here’s a wedding I shot at Hadley Park house on the outskirts of Telford Shropshire.
As the album is due for delivery this week I thought it was a good time to pop a few images on here from Helen and Jacks wedding.
It was also nice to see so many familiar faces at this wedding as I have photographed a number of Helen and Jack friends weddings in the past.
Bridal Preparations
We met Helen and her Bridesmaids in the morning to photograph the preparations and details.
I was booked for all day coverage right up to the couples first dance in the evening, pretty much documenting the day as it unfolded.
Wedding ceremony
Helen & Jack held their wedding ceremony in the pretty, atmospheric conservatory which has a beautiful colonial style, with wooden shutter and ceiling drapes which make for a stunning location. This also allows for a lot of natural light so the room is bright and airy.
Evening reception
The evening wedding reception was held in the Mulliner suit at Hadley Park House Hotel, this is a lovely reception area that is self contained with its own entrance and bar area. A light spacious room with features that keep in line with the Georgian charm of the main building.
Here are a few images from the day…

Tom and Lucy married at St Christopher’s Church in Codsall followed by a reception at Chillington Hall.
As a recommended supplier at Chillington Hall it’s great when I get the chance to return and photograph at this stunning venue, plus they feed me well and supply me with cups of tea 😉
Always spoilt for choice with jaw dropping locations inside and out this truly is a magnificent wedding location.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue Chillington would have to be on the list to look at.
