Weston Super Mare Photography
Just back from a couple of days break with the family,we wanted somewhere close so we headed off to Weston Super Mare as this is only an hour or so away and by some miracle had three of the best days of sunshine this year.
Wherever I go the camera comes with me, I usually take my Fuji X100 as this is small but still gives me great image quality and I don’t have to carry a huge bag of kit around with me. However this time I decided I would also take along the Nikon D3s but not really thinking I would end up taking many images I left behind my lee filter kit..gutted ! and for the shot below I really could of done with them.
It’s no secret that I feel very privileged to make a living from my photography and have done so for over 10 years, but it is also a great way to relax simply taking photographs just for pleasure like the one below..it wont win any awards but it’s never about that for me, it’s simply the pleasure of being outdoors and enjoying what I do. There were some great views across the bay of the Somerset hills and Welsh coast and I’m looking forward to re visiting in the near future with some extra camera gear.
So here is a shot of the grand pier in Weston Super Mare ( without my filters ..doh ! )

Here are some photographs from a recent Baby studio session.
This little one comes into our Stafford studio around every four months as she is on the cherubs package, these are a selection of images from her last photo shoot.
We always try and give the parents variety so it’s always a good idea to bring two to three choices of clothes as we can offer many different style’s of backgrounds.
Also we can offer lifestyle shoots so if you prefer having your photography session outdoors please feel free to ask.
The Cherubs and WMG portrait packages make great christening gifts and can be given in the form of a gift voucher…and remember we have been photographing the watch me grow for over 10 years so have a huge amount of experience when it comes to getting them to smile ( occasionally we fail !! ) but not often :O)
Once you have completed either the Cherubs or WMG portait package you can come back to the studio every year until you child is 5 years old and have a free photography session.

Helen & Jack are getting married this year at Hadley Park House Telford in Shropshire and have chosen me to be their wedding photographer.
As a Staffordshire based photographer it is always nice to get to go to other venues outside of Staffordshire, I have photographed weddings at Hadley park House in the past and I’m very much looking forward to re visiting this venue in September.
For the pre shoot we decided it was a good idea to use Stafford Castle as Jack and Helen often take their dog up there for a good long walk, I did try to get the dog on some of the photos but to say he was full of energy would be an understatement !! :O)
As it was the school holidays and a really hot sunny day ( for a change !) the castle grounds were pretty busy…we did however manage to find a couple of nice areas for the pre wedding shoot.
Really looking forward to photographing Jack and Helens wedding at Hadley Park House in September and images will follow from their wedding day on my blog, but for now here are a few images from the pre wedding shoot in Stafford.

a Somerford Hall Wedding
Rio and Andrew were married at someford hall in brewood, this happened to be one of the wettest days of the year and we simply couldn’t get outside for any photographs.
That said Somerford Hall is one of the best venues for a plan B as there are so many great opportunities inside as well as out.
We started with the bridal preparations photographing those all important details and then returning to the room once Rio had put on her dress and she look amazing !!
Andrew seemed relaxed or he was hiding it well and gave me plenty of time to photograph him with his best man and ushers.

UK Models|Test shoot| Portfolio’s
Here are a couple of images from another recent Model test shoot.
April came into the studio a few weeks ago to do a test shoot for a model agency who are looking for new faces.
We keep our test shoots very simple and they usually last around 30-60 minutes, at this stage we tend not to go for outfit changes or getting in make up artists as the test shoot is purely to see how the models move in front of camera.
